What products do you use if you have poofy, frizzy, curly hair?

I have like curly hair, and it's really poofy and it gets really frizzy. And it has a weird shape like at the top it's okay then it starts to form like a triangle poofball of hair! What products do I use that are not expensive?

Same here. I solved that problem with little to no cost at all. With curly, frizzy, poofy hair, we don't need to wash that often. Our type of hair doesn't get moisture like our straight-haired counterparts, but if we take care of that moisture problem, our hair can be the envy of all those limp-haired ladies (lol, chuckles!)

If you put a simple shine serum on clean curls (while slightly damp), pull your hair back in 1-2 low ponytail scrunchies and sleep on these overnight (preferably in a bonnet), your curls will be looser in the morning. You'll also solve that "triangular" problem and retain shinier, less frizzy curls.

I like to twist my curls together in the ponytails and sleep in the bonnet. My curls are quite full, chunky, and I haven't had frizz in a while.

Good product to use is the Sunsilk Anti-Poof line (the blue bottle). Shampoo, conditioner and the serum are all pretty good. These are about $2-3. You can get free samples at www.sunsilk.com!

Be sure not to overlook the ethnic hair product section! Products marketed toward black hair types are excellent for curly hair! BB Castor Oil Lotion is HEAVEN for curly haired ladies! Put on the ends after a shampoo, set hair at night, and your curls will be so smooth!!!

Also, honey, you need a haircut! Be sure to ask for a salon specialist who knows curly hair (and don't be afraid to ask!). Do ask for a "tunnel cut", which is a cut that removes excess bulk from the hair, which seems to be your problem. Excess bulk can lead to tangles, breakage and frizz.

Hope that helps!!!!

If your hair shapes up like a triangle it means you need a cut with some layers in it....no product will help with that!

Frizz ease hair serum by John Freida, you can get it almost anywhere and it works great.

i agree with the other person, but u can always try products that take the frizz away which will make ur hair flatter and might get it to not look so triangular, their not that expensive just go to like coles or safeway or something there r some for like 5-10 dollars

Conditioner is a godsend--try Fructis, it is pretty cheap %26amp; works well. Try not to comb it after showering, or if you have to, scrunch it up afterwards while wet so you will have better defined curls %26amp; not so much poofing %26amp; frizzing. If it is still frizzy, try a small amount of hair gel.

Do what i do.

I have really curly hair that fruizzes just like urs and i use only two things that combined are not over $10.

A really good mousse. Read the label and make sure it says something like "for curls", "curl defining", "curl enhaching". Those are major key words. I use:

You can find it in Wal Mart.

To apply it i flip my hair upside down when its wet and work my ends. Eventually covering my whole hair.

Next use anti-frizz hair serum. This keeps your hair from poffing up and gives it shine. I dont have a favorite one, sometimes i use:

Also available at Wal Mart.

Using hairspary is an alternative but it helps hold you look. Spray it allover lightly and done.

Hope this helps.
