I'd say either a curling iron or the gel trick... gel trick = spray gel or mousse into wet hair then scrunch it up into a bun and wait till it dries.

Curling iron. It takes some patients and maybe some gel or dampness, but you'll be surprised at how well it works.

You don't really need to buy a curling iron.

I recommend a product called "Curls Rock" by TIGI (it's from the Catwalk line and comes in a blue bottle). If your hair even has a LITTLE tendency to curl, this will help it come out. It's like a cream/gel that you put in your hair. Then run your fingers through your hair and mess it up a bit and if you want you can let it dry naturally and it will curl.

You could take it one step further and buy a device called a diffuser. It attaches to the end of a blow dryer and allows for your hair to dry curly without being frizzy. It's truly a gift from heaven for people with curly hair like me. I use it all the time. Just turn your head over and put the diffuser on the crown of your head and blow dry.. it's really simple and it comes out looking great!

My hair is the same but very thick. I wash it everyday so I can blow dry it straight. I then use a professional grade curling iron. Not too hot (you dont want it to burn your hair). I pin up my upper layers and work on the bottom first. Curling about 1/2 an inch or 2cm thick section of hair. Each time reversing the way I curl the hair. If you curl the same way each time the curls will clump into one. For the top layers of hair you want to use a smaller size barrel curling iron. Do the same pattern on the top layers. I finish with hairspray and Kenra silkening gloss. Just a little will do too much will weigh down your curls.

The results last almost all day. Ive also tried conairs hot sticks for super tight curls. (the sticks burn your fingers)

1ST you should wash your hair

(both shampoo and conditioner)

2ND put some RIGHT ON CURL ACTIVATOR(fromthe beauty supplys)and put it all over your hair while its wet.

3RD wrap your hair up in a bun.leave it in the bun 4 about 3to4 hours.

4TH you have curly hair!!!!

(do this before you go to bed and leave it in the bun into moring)
