When I was younger I had thick, curly hair and my mom made me perm it straight. Now that I'm older, I want it back. So, if I shave my permed hair off, will my hair grow back curly as it once was?

sorry to give u a hard time on this one hun, but i really think that you should be worried of something else, you hair will grow but if you perm'd it most likely it will grow back to were it was before you shaved it all off, now if you want to get your hair back curly natural its a different process and you will need lotsa treatments for that.

some ppl that have permed their hair and shaved it off (like my MIL) got so messed up even after shaving it all off, but off course everyone is different, unless you want your hair to look like a black persons hair, no ofense.
