I'd stay curly. I really think curls suit you, plus you can blow it straight whenever you want. I have thick curly hair too, and I understand why you would want a change, because it can be difficult to deal with - it has a mind of its own. I chemically straightened my hair once, then got dried out and took forever to become healthy again. Plus it didn't quite look right on me.

My advice is to find a hair dresser who is really amazing with curly hair. I had a ton of stylists who did an OK job, but once you've found a great curl specialist, they will make your hair look amazing and unique, and you won't want straight hair anymore. Based on your pics, i would say you could use some more layers and sculpting to really get your curls setting off your facial features. I found a recommendation for my stylist here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons... This website also has tons of other resources to help you learn about your hair type, styles, products, based on the kind of curls/texture you have. I say take advantage of your curls.

No way! dont bother doing that just get a hair straightener! So you can have the best of both worlds (both curly and straight)

i think you can pull off a straighten look... I am also 13 btw so its coming from your age group.. Ok so if you do straighten it my friend got perminently straightened, which is like you have straight hair when you get out of the shower and u always have it straight till you want it to grow out. This is very expensive though about 80 dollars and hour and it takes like 7-8 hours, but its worth it!

Your hair looks lovely curly, I'd leave it. Having it chemically straightened isn't just a one off thing, you would have to have it constantly redone as your hair grows which will really damage it. I can understand your feelings as I have curly hair and when I was a girl I longed for lovely straight locks! But think of it this way....EVERYONE has straight hair, few have lovely curls! Leave your hair natural. You're beautiful the way you are.

I know it's easy for me to say that, so why not try experimenting with hair styles to show off your curls? Make the most of them, and you'll be the envy of everyone!

hi...

u look very pretty...

straight hair surely looks sweet on you.... but for chemical straigtening with chemicals.. i think 13 is too young... sorry if this hurts you....

but i had japanese hair straightening done... it stayed for a long time and i had no side effects though.... but... for a 13 year old.... i want you to try on some hair before getting it dont for hte whole hair :)

or just stick with electric straigtener....or... blow dry your hair...

hope this helps you..

gud luck :)
