most of the things they mentioned are not home made...and those ones that are ....will make ur hair stink...and of course if ur curly hair is that kind that does whatever it wants(like mine)baby oil won't work.

I personally use mousse...and everybody is always telling me how pretty my hair is...but if you want a home made remedie here is one:

it's called LINAZA in spanish(it looks like bird food. I have now clue what is called in English..but you could go to a Mexican grocery store..and find it there. Just put it in water let it boil...when it cools down it'll be kinda sticky...kinda like gel!!! it works wonders...I don't use it myself...cuz I don't have time!! but try it! if you decided to use mousse go for the HERBAL ESSENCES OR 3 in 1 they will make ur hair look beautiful! My hair is GEORGEOUS(with mousse!).

i know one, that is the one that i normaly use you need natural linseed, you put this on a hole and put a little bit of water you let it cook for around 30 min. then you strain soo the seeds and the water gets separeted. you leave the water in some recipient so it gets cold for around an hour and then youll see that it gets an aspect like gel, you put this gel on your hair when its wet and you will have it like you want it. hope it works.

Go to a local Wallgreens and go to the african-american hair care section. Get coconut oil and put that in your hair. it makes it greasy, but not to, and it washes out easily.It genuenly looks wet, but is very light and doesen't make your hair look slicked-back at all!
